Thank you for your words. I am working with a therapist and meds to find a good solution to this all. It's hard, but I am glad I am getting help…and yes, ppdchat is amazing!

Big hugs, Lynse. I can tell by your words in this post that you are still a fighter. You're courageous and you're going to get through this. This too shall pass. My PPD/PPA was at its worst when my son was around the same age as yours is now. It took about 3 months to find the right treatment through medication, and I still struggle. I know that it's going to take some time but the fog is lifting. You have a huge support system of other PPD mamas out there (#ppdchat is awesome!). Your fog will lift, and you will be able to look back at this and see how much of a fighter you really are.

Huge hugs to you Lynse. I have finally come through my PPD & PPA. I finally recognize myself again. You are a fighter. The depression casts a shadow over you. You are not alone & it will get better.

That took a lot of guts to post, but I think it helps to be honest with yourself and with others. There is no "right" kind of mom. We all find our place. Hang in there. Great blog.
