ARC All Access Conference

Monday I will be departing Birmingham, AL and heading to Raleigh, NC for the ARC All Access Conference. I am super pumped about it and everything that we are going to be doing and learning while we are there.

I am telling you all for several reasons….

1….it may look a little different around here for a few days
2….i probably wont have any personal content up outside of ARC
3….my twitters, qiks and all other stuff will probably be consumed with ARC.

I ask that you would be patient, read anything you want and i will be back next Thursday…i am so excited about this opportunity to Live Blog and be a part of this awesome conference. ARC is a great church planting organization and a great church organization to be a part of. So click over to their site and check it out.

Have a great weekend and will see you next week.

Creative Process

Creative Process

I am sitting in the Highlands Creative Team meeting. And thinking about what my creative process is.

I am in a season where I am trying to refine my creative process. Try new things.

I think we all have a creative process and I am wondering what yours is. Do you read a lot of books or magazines? Watch a lot of movies or commercials?

What is your process?

Work email

Work email

As I have come back from my 40 days off of social media and then my week long wonderful vacation I am toying with the idea of getting my work email sent to my cell phone.

I have my pros and cons list but was wondering what your opinion is….

Should I get my work emails on my cell phone?

21 Days is Coming

8 Jan

as i referenced in my post on Tuesday i will be doing a 21 day fast starting on Sunday morning. It is going to be a time for me to focus on the Lord and what is to come in 2009. it will be a time of rest and things will slow down.

I am very excited about it.

I wanted to open up the floor to pray for you. Each week i am dedicated Fridays to be the “pray for the blog” day. so each Thursday my post will be general and open for prayer….you can either email me at lynseleanne@mac.com or just leave a comment and i will cover you on Fridays.

But i would ask for your prayers as i walk into this fast…it is hard…but it is so worth it and rewarding after it.

But tomorrow i want to pray for you as well….

So what do you need prayer for? you can comment or email me at lynseleanne@mac.com to go off the record.

preparing for 21 days

6 Jan

This week is the “get back in the swing of things” week for me. I am so grateful for the Holidays…and the rest and the time off that i got to spend with my husband and friends. it was very refreshing.

Looking forward in 2009 i am excited for all that God is going to do in and through me. Last year my world was so consumed with my wedding that nothing else was out on the table for change/focus….so this year will be good. i can feel it in my bones.

Each year Church of the Highlands participates in a 21 day fast in January. I have been a part of it for the past 4 years and it is always amazing!!

I spent a few of the days off getting ready for the 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting by defining my prayer focuses and determining what i am fasting. It is going to be a hard 21 days….it always seems to be. but in the end it is so rewarding. It is a time to put aside myself and focus 21 days on God and His call and plan for me and for His face.

In past years i have fasting this little place called lynseleanne.com but this year i am going to bring you all along on the journey with me. I am excited to see what all will happen here through this time.

As i prepare for the fast by “pre fasting” i am curious as to whether you fast? have you ever fasted (not only food)? Are you or your church participating in a fast this year?
