If I am doing something and know there are clothes that can be washed or dishes that can be loaded I have to stop what I am doing, go start a load of whatever, then get back to my task at hand. Not to say some things can get distracting at times but if I have only one thing going on I get bored. In college I would do homework from one class while taking notes from another did it all the way through graduate school and made better grades because of it.
