When I had it for my last job I had projects that had a crunch time period where it was really helpful to get those emails at night. It depends on the nature of your job, and what you desire your boundries to be, AND how often you get new emails. It could be helpful, or it could be wearing on your social life, marriage, ministry, etc. You could try it for a few weeks and see what you think. I agree with Crystal's comment b/c it can invade the personal life. Just set boundaries. Try and put your phone down every once and awhile.
