the walls go up all around us

So today we went out to the “property”. The builders i guess threw a fish fry to congradulate the crew for getting the walls up on our new building. It is crazy to see the building that we have for so long invisioned in our minds actually have a tangible form. Just to see how much has been done, and to be standing in the middle of it was such a blessing.

I am honestly overwhelmed every day with how awesome God is. He has blessed me by allowing me to pour my life into ministry and to do it at such an incredible and life giving church.

Soon we will be in the building and only remember the days of set up at 5 am and though now we complain and wish for the day that we can come 45 minutes before church, like normal people we will look back and long for the days of set up and tear down. Though we may never wish to be there again, i am sure we will miss the memories that were generated when people were too tired to remember how things go after months of the same task.

Enjoy where you are now for what you wish for will soon come and you will be wishing for the old back. In the words of John Maxwell, Today Matters. Make it today.

wow! that was all cheesy and inspirational and i never intended it to be, but such is life.
